Send Mail

The Send Mail component is used in Synergy IDE workflows to send emails, push notifications, and web notifications to users based on workflow conditions or actions.

SendMail

The Send Mail object allows designers to notify specific users or groups by email and other channels during a process flow. It supports structured content, dynamic placeholders, attachments, and various recipient types.

  • Sends Email, Push Notification, and Web Notification
  • Supports To, CC, and BCC recipient groups
  • Allows use of dynamic placeholders (e.g., {{ProcessCaption}})
  • HTML or Plain Text mail body support
  • Optional attachments
  • Tracks read receipts via Read Information toggle
  • Logs to flow history (optional)

Main Property Sections​

Mail To, CC, BCC​

  • Define who will receive the email.
  • Reuses the Mail To List modal for selection.
  • Groups or individual users can be selected.

Mail Content​

  • Subject Value: Email subject line
  • Message Value: Email body
  • Is HTML Message: Enable for HTML-formatted messages

Attachments​

  • Attach documents from the process or forms to the email

Mail From​

  • Read Information: Enables read receipt tracking for the sender

Options​

  • Show in the Flow History: Logs this mail action in the flow audit trail

Push & Web Notification​

  • Define separate captions and messages for mobile and browser notifications
